Privacy Policy

The short version

I'm not interested in tracking you. This portfolio is just a place to show what I can do. I don't use analytics, I don't set tracking cookies, and I don't sell your data.

The chatbot

The only time I see any data from you is if you talk to the AI chatbot. When you send a message, it travels through a Cloudflare Worker and their AI Gateway before hitting the Google Gemini API.

Cloudflare keeps logs of these conversations for a few weeks. I use those logs to make sure the bot isn't crashing and to see how people are interacting with it. I don't have any long-term storage set up for these messages.

Because I run this from Switzerland, Google's "Paid Services" terms apply to the Gemini API. This means Google doesn't use your prompts or the bot's answers to train their AI models. They might keep the data briefly to catch abuse or for legal reasons, but nobody is sitting there reading your chats to improve the algorithm. You can check the details in Google's API terms.

One heads-up: I can't delete individual messages once they've been sent. If you're not okay with that, it's probably best to skip the chatbot. And please, don't put anything sensitive or personal in there. It's an AI, after all.
